  • Watch a Live Impression Presentation

    Posted 11/16/06 by Todd Hunter

I will be doing a live webcast presentation on Impression next Tuesday, November 21st. As I am presenting, there will be a live chat session available that will include actual live people to chat with and answer your questions as they come up.

Impression is really a very simple application but it is also completely new. There is a Quickstart Tour to take the first time you open it, and we have some video tutorials available to help get you rolling, but it is an unfamiliar UI which may cause you to stare at the new application and wonder where to start. Seeing a live presentation and being able to ask questions on the fly is a great way to get your creativity flowing.

Go here to sign up for the Webcasts:

The whole "Impression preview experience" thing just would not be complete without seeing a webcast like this, but if you cant watch this one on the 21st, don't worry, there will be another one on December 5th, and probably more after that.

  • Welcome!

    Posted 11/13/06 by Todd Hunter

Man, I am happy to finally be here.

Getting to this point has been both challenging and fun. We have been working very hard to get Impression ready for people to preview and we are finally here. Working with the Beta customers, we have been able to fine tune and improve Impression and I am confident we are on the right track to make this one of the best Autodesk products ever.

If you have not already done so, go ahead and download the Impression Technology Preview version here: http://labs.autodesk.com/Impressionlanding.aspx

I know you are going to like it.
